About The Position
Sentara Medical Group Family Internal Medicine Careplex West 300 Clinic is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant in Hampton, Virginia. The Medical Assistant works directly with a doctor, conducting phlebotomy and performing clinical and clerical duties. The role includes bringing patients into examination rooms, taking vital signs, verifying patient information, and preparing patients for the doctor. The position is on the day shift, Monday through Friday, with schedules of 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; there are no nights, holidays, or weekends. The role is part of a team focused on patient care. Requirements
- One of the following credentials is required: Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or certified EMT (EMT-B, AEMT, or Paramedic).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
