About The Position
Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is seeking a full-time, onsite Certified Medical Assistant in Phoenix, Arizona. The role supports patients experiencing knee pain and helps provide a comfortable, efficient patient experience in a fast-paced, positive, patient-focused environment. The Medical Assistant monitors patient scheduling and wait times, manages check-ins, prepares injection supplies, routes patients, and collects relevant information. The role also assists the physician during procedures, follows sanitation and procedure-room protocols, and manages medical inventory to keep the facility stocked and organized.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification.
- At least two years of medical assistant experience.
- Proficiency with medical software and tools.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact empathetically with patients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the new patient schedule and overall wait times.
- Manage patient check-ins.
- Prepare injection supplies and route patients.
- Collect relevant patient information.
- Assist the physician during procedures by providing necessary supplies.
- Follow sanitation and procedure-room protocols.
- Manage medical inventory and keep the facility stocked and organized.
