About The Position

Medcor is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide high-quality clinical administrative care on a PRN basis (as-needed) in an employer-based clinic setting in Yakima, Washington. The clinic offers basic primary and urgent care, as well as treatment for workplace injuries. The clinic operates Monday-Thursday from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm and Fridays from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. This is not a full-time position; it is PRN/coverage with no guaranteed hours. The CMA will provide excellent clinical care in an Occupational Health clinic, assist in patient care and treatment, and collaborate with medical and operational leadership, the on-site Nurse Practitioner, and client contacts. Requirements

Valid Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification/Washington Cert)
Valid BLS (AHA or ARC)
Positive and outgoing personality
Willingness to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable working in a clinic environment
Minimum of 2 years' experience
Comfortable and productive working with computers

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with EMR software is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service to clinic patients and Medcor’s client
Schedule appointments, greet patients, manage clinic traffic, and conduct follow-up calls
Record keeping, and running reports with state-of-the-art electronic medical software
Assist with clinical exams, procedures, and labs
Conduct drug and alcohol tests
Inventory and stocking of supplies
Work collaboratively with clinic staff, client staff, and local medical providers
