About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. Sign-On for Eligible New Hires. Work location: 100 Bourland Road - Suite 170 Keller, TX 76248. Work hours: Full-time; 40 hours weekly; Monday - Friday (8am-5pm). Clinic Highlights: No Weekends, Collaborative Work Environment, Cross Training for Career Development and Growth.

Requirements

High School Diploma (REQUIRED)
Valid Certification as a Medical Assistant (REQUIRED)
Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED)
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Exception Quarterly - 90 days upon hire (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

One year of experience as a CMA (PREFERRED)
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire (PREFERRED)
NCT - Non-certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire (PREFERRED)
Willing to consider a New CMA that has completed an Externship

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
May work in the front office as needed
May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
