About The Position
UPMC is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its Cardiology office in Steubenville, Ohio. The position involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, performing 12-lead EKGs, providing customer service, multitasking, and working in a team-oriented environment. Some travel to UPMC’s Wintersville office may be required to support staffing needs. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. No evenings, weekends, or holidays are required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
- Certified or registered through a national agency.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
Responsibilities
- Assist in healthcare delivery.
- Substitute for all clerical operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Room patients, take vital signs, and perform 12-lead EKGs.
- Provide customer service, multitask, and work in a team-oriented environment.
- Travel to the Wintersville office as needed to support staffing needs.
