About The Position

Memorial Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for its ENT team. The role supports patient care under the supervision of a physician or nurse and includes assisting with assessments and treatments, performing basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, monitoring patient condition, and documenting care. The CMA also maintains equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas, and performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned.

This is a full-time day position. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one Saturday per month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Memorial Medical Center describes benefits that include medical, dental, and vision coverage; insurance and paid leave; education and certification assistance; a 401(k) with company match; wellness programs; and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent.
• Current CCMA, CMA, or RMA credential.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of a physician or nurse.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect specimens.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care provided.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain examination areas.
• Perform assigned administrative or clerical duties, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
