About The Position
This role is for a Certified Medical Assistant or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in a clinic setting. The specific requirements differ slightly depending on whether the candidate is applying as a Medical Assistant or an LPN.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED)
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program accredited by a recognized accrediting organization (i.e. ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program – OR Graduate of a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) program accredited by a national health services organization (i.e. American Medical Technologists) with on the job experience and passing the RMA Certification exam.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting
- Passed X-Ray Operator Examination
- Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
- Active Minnesota/PN license at time of submission (for LPN candidates)
