About The Position

RAMC is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. This position will support the Specialty Clinic in both Dermatology and Orthopedics. The role involves a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical functions in an ambulatory setting. The CMA is responsible for clinic patient care as directed by the Provider or RN and may be involved in training and guiding clinical staff. The individual should be aware of the psychosocial needs of patients and families.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school where a diploma in Medical Assistant is granted (for CMA).
CMA certification through AMAA or CCMA (for CMA).
BLS certification required.
Graduate from an accredited school for licensed practical nurses (for LPN).
Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of Wisconsin (for LPN).
Certification of completion of a pharmacology course (for LPN).

Responsibilities

Responsible for clinic patient care as directed by the Provider or RN.
May be involved in the training and guidance of clinical staff.
