About The Position

RAMC is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Specialty Clinic team, supporting both Sleep Medicine and Consulting departments. This role involves patient care, technical functions, and clerical duties in an ambulatory setting. The individual will provide clinic patient care as directed by a Provider or RN and may be involved in training and guiding clinical staff. Awareness of the psychosocial needs of patients and families is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school where a diploma in Medical Assistant is granted (for CMA).
• CMA certification through AMAA or CCMA (for CMA).
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate from an accredited school for licensed practical nurses (for LPN).
• Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of Wisconsin (for LPN).
• Certification of completion of a pharmacology course (for LPN).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic patient care as directed by the Provider or RN.
• Be involved in the training and guidance of clinical staff.
• Be aware of the psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Perform a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical-related functions in the ambulatory setting.
