About The Position

RAMC is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team in supporting the Specialty Clinic, which serves both Sleep Medicine and Consulting. This role involves a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical functions in an ambulatory setting. The CMA/LPN will provide patient care as directed by a Provider or RN, and may also be involved in training and guiding clinical staff. Awareness of the psychosocial needs of patients and families is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school where a diploma in Medical Assistant is granted (for CMA).
• CMA certification through AMAA or CCMA (for CMA).
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate from an accredited school for licensed practical nurses (for LPN).
• Current licensure as a practical nurse in the state of Wisconsin (for LPN).
• Certification of completion of a pharmacology course (for LPN).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic patient care as directed by the Provider or RN.
• May be involved in the training and guidance of clinical staff.
• Be aware of the psychosocial needs of patients and families as a member of the patient care team.
