About The Position
The Certified Medical Assistant II - Neurology position is a full-time role, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The position is located at Prime Healthcare General Surgery, 800 Austin St, West Tower Suite 253 in Evanston, IL. This role is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Responsibilities include appointment scheduling and chart management. The Medical Assistant will provide information to patients to ensure they can fully utilize and benefit from clinic services, while also conveying a positive image of the organization.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant Certification.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
- Current Phlebotomy certification or Competency required.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in health care preferred.
