About The Position

Trios Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join their team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the mission of making communities healthier. The CMA will work under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and basic diagnostic procedures. They will also be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, and performing administrative duties. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Washington CMA License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with performing patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of physicians or nurses.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
