About The Position

Trios Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join their team. This role is vital in supporting physicians and nurses in patient care, assessments, and treatments. The position emphasizes a commitment to well-being and making communities healthier. The CMA will perform basic diagnostic procedures, monitor patient conditions, maintain equipment and supplies, and handle administrative duties. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment are essential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Washington CMA License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
  • Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
  • Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
