About The Position

Trios Health, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join their team. This role is vital in supporting physicians and nurses with patient assessments and treatments, performing diagnostic procedures, collecting specimens, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting care. The CMA will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies, managing examination areas, and performing administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and patient registration. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a stressful environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Current Washington CMA License
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
Documents patient care given.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
Maintains examination areas.
Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
