The Certified Medical Assistant/CMA will deliver care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant process. This role performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures, greeting and preparing patients for the health care provider. The CMA will obtain and record vital signs, may be required to draw and collect blood samples, perform routine tests such as EKG, and document patient plans of care. This position also involves preparing, cleaning, and sterilizing instruments, maintaining equipment, and keeping patient exam rooms stocked, clean, and orderly. The CMA may also assist in the front office as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
