About The Position

Memorial Medical Center is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Women's Health Clinic, an outpatient practice providing comprehensive OB/GYN care in a supportive, patient-focused setting. The clinic has an expanding provider team and emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, professional growth, and care for patients through every stage of life.

Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, the Certified Medical Assistant assists with patient assessments and treatments, performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection, monitors and communicates changes in patient condition, and documents care. The role also includes maintaining equipment, medical supplies, and examination areas, as well as assigned administrative and clerical work such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

The position is full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent.
• Hold a CCMA, CMA, or RMA credential.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and treatments under the supervision of physicians or nurses.
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures and collect specimens.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.
• Document patient care provided.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain examination areas.
• Perform assigned administrative or clerical duties, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
