About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will be a vital link between patients and providers at FryeCare Cardiothoracic Surgery. This role requires a deep commitment to delivering excellent care with efficiency and a positive attitude. The CMA will accurately identify patient needs, provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient, and perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. FryeCare Cardiothoracic Surgery specializes in caring for patients with a wide range of heart and lung diseases, utilizing both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CMA or RMA or CCMA via the AAMA or NHA must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

• One year of experience preferred
