About The Position
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides to provide care and support to individuals in their homes. The role involves assisting clients with personal care, mobility, medication reminders, household tasks, meals, companionship, and accurate documentation. Shifts are available in 2-, 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour durations, including day and night shifts. The posting offers full-time, part-time, and per-diem arrangements.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions from nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassion and empathy for individuals who need assistance with daily activities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail when documenting medical information accurately.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home care or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care and dementia care techniques is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes or concerns to the nurse.
- Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Document client care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
