About The Position
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide care and support to individuals in their homes. The role involves assisting clients with personal care, mobility, medication reminders, meals, housekeeping, companionship, and care documentation. Aides monitor vital signs and report changes or concerns to the nurse, while following instructions from nurses and other healthcare professionals. Shifts are available in 2-, 4-, 8-, 10-, and 12-hour lengths, including day and night shifts. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem positions are available.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassion and empathy for individuals who need assistance with daily activities.
- Ability to follow instructions from nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail when documenting medical information accurately.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home care or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of memory care and dementia care techniques is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes or concerns to the nurse.
- Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Document client care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
