About The Position
Award Homecare is actively hiring compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) throughout New Jersey. We offer Live-In, Hourly, Overnight, Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flexible Scheduling Options to fit your lifestyle and availability. We have a female client looking for a female aid to help her Monday - Friday 8am-12pm to start ASAP! If you're passionate about helping seniors and individuals remain safely and comfortably in their homes, we'd love to have you join our growing team.
Requirements
- Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) License required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
- Must pass all required background checks and health screenings.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and fall prevention support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's physical or emotional condition.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Assist clients in maintaining independence and dignity in their own homes.
