Certified HHA & PCA – Per Diem & Flexible Shifts – Nassau County
About The Position
Alvita Care is seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers for per diem and ongoing cases throughout Nassau County and surrounding areas. Experience in facility or home care is preferred. Applicants must possess a valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate. The pay rate ranges from $19.65 to $22.00 per hour, depending on the specific case. Alvita Care is a mission-driven Home Healthcare & Personal Care Agency with 4 branches and over 500 caregivers, specializing in In-Home Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Palliative & Hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management. They hold The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. All clients are private-pay. The agency offers both private-duty one-on-one cases and facility-based care, including per diem shifts. All applicants will undergo a phone screening to ensure suitability for both the caregiver and the client. Cases are only assigned after successful completion of Alvita Care's onboarding process.
Requirements
- Valid NYS Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate required.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Updated medicals/vaccinations (or willing to obtain).
- Completed drug screen or Habituation Form.
- Must complete Alvita Care onboarding to accept cases.
Nice To Haves
- Facility or home care experience preferred.
- Own reliable transportation and valid driver's license a plus.
