About The Position
Alvita Care is seeking compassionate, reliable Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) caregivers for per diem shifts in Dix Hills/Melville and surrounding areas in Suffolk County. Experience in facility and home care is preferred. Alvita Care is a Joint Commission-accredited home care agency with four branches and over 500 caregivers, specializing in personal care, dementia care, hospice, and geriatric care management. All clients are private-pay.
Requirements
- Certified New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Reliable, professional, and patient-centered.
- Must be discrete and professional in all communications, written and verbal.
- Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain.
- Must successfully complete Alvita Care onboarding process to accept cases.
Nice To Haves
- Facility and home care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to clients.
- Assist with dementia care.
- Provide hospice care.
- Offer geriatric care management.
