About The Position

Clear Lakes Dental is seeking a full-time Certified Dental Assistant to provide patient care for patients of all ages. The role assists with patient preparation, instrument sterilization, operatory setup, and supporting EFDAs and hygienists during treatments. The position requires strong organization and attention to detail, with a focus on exceptional patient care. Clear Lakes Dental provides 100% fully paid training. Compensation is $20 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; secondary education is a plus.
• Certificate in Sealant Application.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Desire to learn more about the dental industry.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate in Coronal Polishing preferred.
• Certificate in Dental Radiography/X-Ray preferred.
• CPR training is a plus but is not required.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish, Somali, Oromo, or Hmong is a plus.
• Secondary education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures.
• Sterilize instruments and set up operatories between patients.
• Take and process dental X-rays.
• Accurately document treatment plans and patient notes.
• Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive treatments.
• Educate patients on postoperative care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and HIPAA-compliant workspace.
• Contribute as a supportive team member.
