About The Position
Join the team at Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) - a collaboration that unites the academic excellence of Columbia University with the world-class clinical resources of NewYork-Presbyterian. CNYPAI delivers advanced outpatient Radiology and Imaging services, including MRI and PET/CT, supported by cutting-edge technology and some of the most respected experts in the field. As a CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of CT examinations using state-of-the-art Siemens imaging equipment in a collaborative, high-quality outpatient environment. Your expertise will directly support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and innovative research, while helping patients receive the answers and care they need. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- New York State Radiology license
- New York State certification to inject contrast media
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography: ARRT (R)(CT)
- Maintenance of continuing education credits per ARRT requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one year experience in CT
- Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software
- Previous relevant experience in research
- Prior experience with Siemens equipment
