Certified MRI Technologist - Full Time (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, 7:00am-8:00pm) - Columbia (CNYPAI)
About The Position
Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian Advanced Imaging (CNYPAI) is a collaboration that unites the academic excellence of ColumbiaDoctors with the world-class clinical resources of NewYork-Presbyterian. CNYPAI delivers advanced outpatient Radiology and Imaging services, including MRI and PET/CT, supported by cutting-edge technology and some of the most respected experts in the field. Our mission is to detect and treat conditions that might otherwise go unnoticed, elevate research that advances population health, and ensure every patient receives care of the highest quality and compassion. This role involves working with a wide variety of cases across all modalities, utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a hospital committed to Putting Patients First.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- New York State Licensed X-Ray Technologist by the Department of Health.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- New York State license to inject contrast.
- Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, Modality specific software.
- One year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI and PET/CT equipment.
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Ensure patient care of the highest quality and compassion.
- Contribute to research efforts to improve health in individuals and populations.
- Maintain continuing education credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements.
- Work with a wide variety of cases across all modalities.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology.
