About The Position

At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We are seeking to hire experienced Certified Clinical Medical Assistants to join our team in Reisterstown located at 120 Westminster Pike! Some positions support working with one provider, while other positions support floating within the clinic.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Internal Medicine / Primary Care experience
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently multitask and stay organized
• Proficiency in EHR/ computer skills (Nextgen is a plus); CRISP; Cover My Meds

Nice To Haves

• NHA is a plus!
• If you are not certified but have completed an accredited Medical Assistant training program, please still apply! We will work with you to get certified within 90 days of hire, if you are eligible.
• Internal Medicine / Primary Care experience of 1-2 years is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assistance during routine exams
• Recording a patient history and logging vital signs.
• Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results
• Entering lab / diagnostic test orders
• Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging
• Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
• Triage calls
• Rooming patients
• Assisting during an office visit
• Providing follow-up to patients and/or families
