About The Position

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a compassionate, dependable Certified Caregiver to provide individualized care and support to clients in their homes. The role supports clients’ comfort, safety, dignity, privacy, and independence through personal care, household assistance, companionship, and transportation. Caregivers communicate and report changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate care team. Medication administration and other delegated tasks must follow state regulations, company guidelines, and any applicable credentialing and training requirements.

Requirements

Current HCA or CNA license, renewed annually.
Ability to meet BCCU background check requirements.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work responsibly with confidential information.
Dependable and compassionate, with the ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide personal caregiving services and support in clients’ homes.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients’ personal needs, comfort, and safety.
Prepare meals and assist with special diets.
Perform general housekeeping and household support activities.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities.
Administer medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations; complete Nurse Delegation Core and/or Nurse Delegation Diabetes certifications when required.
Assist with Passive Range of Motion activities when properly credentialed and trained.
Provide limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes, in accordance with company guidelines.
Communicate accurately and report changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate care team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
