About The Position
All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide individualized care for clients in the comfort of their own homes. The role supports clients’ dignity, privacy, safety, comfort, and independence through personal care, household assistance, companionship, transportation, and other assigned duties. Caregivers communicate with the care team and report changes in a client’s condition. The position may involve delegated medication administration and other care tasks when permitted by state regulations and when the caregiver has the required credentials and training.
Requirements
- Current HCA or CNA license, renewed annually.
- Ability to meet BCCU background check requirements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work responsibly with confidential information.
- Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with good judgment.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal caregiving services and support in clients’ homes.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients’ personal needs, comfort, and safety.
- Prepare meals and assist with special diets.
- Perform general housekeeping and household support activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities.
- Administer medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations, completing Nurse Delegation Core and/or Nurse Delegation Diabetes certifications when required.
- Assist with Passive Range of Motion activities when properly credentialed and trained.
- Provide limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes, in accordance with company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate communication and report changes in clients’ conditions to the appropriate care team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
