About The Position

The Certified Caregiver provides assisted-living residents with support for activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment. The caregiver transports residents within the community, responds promptly and safely to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards, and follows resident care plans while obtaining vital signs. The schedule is full-time, 2–10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
