About The Position

The Certified Caregiver provides assistance to assisted living residents with activities of daily living and supports their safety, well-being, and participation in community life. The role includes helping residents with grooming and bathing, maintaining their personal environment, transporting them within the community, responding promptly and appropriately to requests and hazards, following resident care plans, and obtaining vital signs.

This is a full-time position scheduled from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain vital signs.
