About The Position

The Certified Caregiver provides memory care residents with assistance in activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment. The role also transports residents around the community and responds promptly and safely to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards. The caregiver reviews and follows resident care plans and obtains vital signs. The schedule is part-time, Friday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Requirements

• Valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans.
• Obtain residents’ vital signs.
