Certified Caregiver, Memory Care
About The Position
The Certified Caregiver provides memory care residents with assistance in activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and helps maintain residents’ personal environments. The role also transports residents within the community, responds promptly and safely to emergency calls, resident or visitor requests, and environmental hazards, and follows resident care plans while obtaining vital signs. This is a full-time position scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 2:00–10:00 p.m. The role requires a valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of state educational requirements, and CPR certification. Experience with an elderly population is preferred.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Meet all state educational requirements for the position.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including grooming and bathing, and help maintain their personal environments.
- Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
- Respond to emergency calls, resident and visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
- Review and adhere to resident care plans.
- Obtain residents’ vital signs.
