About The Position
This position provides athletic training services for student athletes at Manistee Community Middle and High Schools. The role involves working within a small, close-knit Sports Medicine team, supported by the Sports Medicine Director and Outpatient Rehab Director/designee. The role offers opportunities for personal growth and advancement within the organization through mentorship and skill development.
Requirements
- Four-year bachelor's degree in athletic training or related study
- Certification as an athletic trainer
- Licensed in Athletic Training
- Must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
- Must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
Responsibilities
- Provide athletic training services for student athletes at Manistee Community Middle and High Schools.
- Work with a small, close-knit Sports Medicine team that supports and encourages each other.
- Collaborate with leaders and mentors to learn new skills and provide personal growth and promotional opportunities.
