About The Position

This position is for a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to work on-site at a large high school. The role involves helping athletes, empowering patients, and being part of a larger team. The Certified Athletic Trainer will work alongside Physical Therapists, physicians, coaches, and employers to keep athletes and active individuals healthy, strong, and performing at their best. Team Rehabilitation is a therapist-owned network of outpatient clinics across Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Georgia, known for excellent outcomes, exceptional patient satisfaction, and a positive work environment. Their mission is to provide the best outpatient physical and occupational therapy, make therapy enjoyable, and deliver measurable improvements in health and quality of life.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program
BOC certification
Licensed as an Athletic Trainer
CPR certified
Strong communication skills to effectively manage athlete triage and build relationships with parents, coaches, and school personnel.

Responsibilities

Providing onsite athletic training services at practices, games, and scrimmages.
Recognizing, evaluating, and managing injuries, including emergency care.
Developing and implementing rehabilitation and injury prevention programs.
Maintaining strong relationships for Team Rehabilitation to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Assisting with clinical protocols and participating in company-supported research studies.
Engaging in continuous professional development through company events and continuing education allowances.
