About The Position

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is hiring a dedicated and creative Activity Director to create meaningful engagement for residents. The role requires reliability, trustworthiness, consistent attendance, the ability to multitask, polite collaboration, and adaptability in a dynamic environment. The Activity Director documents activity programs and resident participation, assesses residents’ activity histories and needs in accordance with state and federal standards, communicates facility events through monthly calendars and periodic newsletters, and develops and maintains a volunteer program. The position also involves designing and delivering activity programs that address residents’ social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs within a specified budget.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Certified as an Activity Director, as required by state regulations.
• Excellent creativity and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to document and implement detailed programs.
• Experience creating and implementing effective resident care plans.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and consistent in attendance.
• Able to multitask effectively, collaborate politely with others, and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed records of activity programs and resident participation, identifying progress toward established care plan goals.
• Conduct resident activity histories and assessments in compliance with state and federal standards.
• Publish and distribute a monthly calendar of events and periodic facility newsletters to inform residents and families.
• Develop and maintain an active and effective volunteer program to support activities.
• Develop, organize, and execute activity programs that meet residents’ social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs within a specified budget.
