About The Position
Creative Solutions in Healthcare is hiring a dedicated and creative Activity Director to develop and coordinate resident activity programs. The role calls for reliability, trustworthiness, consistent attendance, effective multitasking, polite collaboration, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. The Activity Director documents programs and participation, assesses residents, communicates event information to residents and families, and develops a volunteer program. Requirements
- Be a high school graduate.
- Be certified as an Activity Director, as required by state regulations.
- Demonstrate creativity and strong communication skills.
- Have strong organizational skills and the ability to document and implement detailed programs.
- Have experience creating and implementing effective resident care plans.
- Be reliable and trustworthy, with consistent attendance.
- Be able to multitask, collaborate politely, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed records of activity programs and resident participation, identifying progress toward established care plan goals.
- Conduct resident activity histories and assessments in compliance with state and federal standards.
- Publish and distribute a monthly calendar of events and periodic facility newsletters for residents and families.
- Develop and maintain an active and effective volunteer program to support activities.
- Create, organize, and execute activity programs that meet residents’ social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs within a specified budget.
