The Applications Trainer is responsible for delivering virtual, instructor‑led training to newly hired frontline staff across multiple clinical applications. Training is primarily class‑based and focuses on Epic applications, including but not limited to Ambulatory, Research, Stork, Radiant, Cupid, Willow, and Beaker, as well as Cerner CoPath during the organization’s transition from Cerner to Epic. This role facilitates interactive, scenario‑based learning programs for both clinical and non‑clinical end users in a remote environment. Depending on the application, the trainer may instruct the same cohort of learners throughout the week or deliver stand‑alone classes that occur once per week. Responsibilities include tracking attendance, administering course evaluations and proficiency assessments, and partnering with the logistics team as needed. The position requires flexibility, with classroom facilitation ranging from three to five days per week based on training demand. On non‑facilitation days, the trainer will support additional duties such as collaborating with principal trainers, learning new curricula, contributing to course preparation, and completing administrative tasks. The Applications Trainer applies strong communication, instructional design, and technical skills to ensure training objectives are met and learners are well‑prepared to perform their roles.
