Centralized Resource Pool (CRP) Registered Nurse - Critical Care
About The Position

This position may close without notice once a sufficient number of qualified applications are received. CRP Registered Nurse will be assigned to various Critical Care units including Maternal/Pediatric, Surgical and Emergency services based on departmental needs. Provides care to acutely and critically ill patients, in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment. These patients are facing life-threatening problems with varying needs, which require extensive medication protocols and therapies. Provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and one (1) year recent, within the last five years, of critical care experience.
- Current License by the Nevada State Board of Nursing to Practice as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS – accepted by the American Red Cross).
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and Minimum of three (3) years recent documented bedside experience, within the past five (5) years, various intensive care unit(s) experience.
- Advanced Airway Management including Ventilator knowledge
- Critical Care Infusions
- Strong Critical Care thinking Skills
Nice To Haves
- Trauma Nurse Core Certification (TNCC)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP)
- additional Certification in the Specialty Area assigned
