Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
- Minimum one (1) year of RN experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- BSN Required. Degree will be verified.
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Acute Care, Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care, Critical Care, Emergency Department, or other hospital-based RN experience.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a variety of clinical environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care across a variety of patient populations and clinical settings.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and evidence-based practices.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, care needs, and discharge instructions.
- Adapt to varying patient volumes, workflows, and clinical environments while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Support a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for patients, families, and fellow caregivers.
