About The Position

The Centralized Procurement Solutions Analyst is responsible for providing operational and technical support and administration throughout the lifecycle of RFP’s and Sourcing initiatives. This position reports to the Centralized Procurement Solutions Manager and works within a cross functional project team to meet the key deliverables on RFP and Sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. Significant Procurement, strategic sourcing or RFP coordination in a procurement system or practice can be considered to determine qualification.
  • Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
  • Analysis & Critical Thinking: Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills. Must be detailed oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness: Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness. Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and sometimes emotionally charged matters.
  • Communication Skills: Good command of the English language. Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation) is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with diverse individuals in cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: Strong customer focus. Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration, and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.
  • Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability to work independently with limited supervision. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Effectively lead and facilitate group discussions, coach, mentor, motivate, and engage others to align to a common goal. Ability to effectively lead projects from inception through implementation and assessment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.

Nice To Haves

  • Administration and project management experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in procurement, conducting RFPs, and accounts payable is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of enterprise-wide procurement policies, corporate cards, accounting concepts and internal controls around spend.
  • Second language is an asset but not required.
