Central Supply Distribution Technician - First Hill
About The Position
Conducts physical inventory of supply areas, including patient care and ancillary areas. Uses the Material Management (MM) System to enter data and generate pick tickets, accurately picks listed items, and delivers and stocks materials in supply areas. Stocks materials from the warehouse to clean distribution areas. Rotates stock in MSC inventories, FH ED or the Issaquah Campus, and on par levels using first-in/first-out rotation for items without manufacturer expiration dates. For items with manufacturer expiration dates, rotates stock using earliest-expiration-date-first-out rotation. The role regularly interacts with internal and external customers, including coworkers, other Swedish employees, patients, visitors, representatives from other hospitals, and vendors. The position is with Swedish First Hill and is part of Providence.
Requirements
- One year of recent experience within the past five years working in a supply chain environment using a computerized Materials Management Information System.
Nice To Haves
- Coursework or training in inventory and supply distribution management.
- Forklift certification upon hire.
- Experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience with material handling equipment, such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
