About The Position

The Central Supply Technician supports patient care and hospital operations by cleaning, disinfecting, assembling, testing, and delivering medical equipment and supplies throughout the hospital. The position works under the supervision of the CSP Manager and supports multiple departments in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The role requires precision, dependability, attention to detail, and collaboration. Team members may learn and develop their skills within a supportive department focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Background in supply chain, shipping/receiving, logistics, or healthcare support roles.

Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, and reassemble medical equipment such as suction machines, IV pumps, wheelchairs, walkers, and commodes using approved cleaning agents and procedures.
Test equipment for proper function and replace damaged or missing parts using available inventory.
Complete required documentation and route inoperable equipment for repair.
Bag, tag, and label cleaned equipment to maintain safety and compliance standards.
Deliver supplies and equipment to requesting departments and prepare surgical (OR) case carts as needed.
Restock supply areas and maintain organized inventory levels.
Check expiration dates and verify the integrity of sterile supplies and packaging indicators.
Respond to calls from departments and assist with supply or equipment needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in assigned areas.
Support onboarding and training of new team members within the department.
