About The Position

This is a full-performance role involving decontamination, preparation, and distribution of a variety of medical supplies and equipment used throughout the hospital and adjacent medical buildings. The position is with PIH Health, a nonprofit regional healthcare network serving approximately 3 million residents in the Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley region. PIH Health includes three hospitals, outpatient medical office buildings, a multispecialty physician group, home healthcare and hospice services, and a range of specialty and urgent and emergency care services.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English.
• Ability to perform on own initiative.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of medical equipment function sufficient to determine operational adequacy.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and prepare medical supplies and equipment.
• Distribute medical supplies and equipment for use throughout the hospital and adjacent medical buildings.
• Assess whether medical equipment is operationally adequate.
