Central Distribution Tech
About The Position
The Central Distribution Tech counts, restocks, and delivers supplies and equipment. The role includes unpacking supplies, rotating stock, checking for outdated items, and may include processing daily billing charges and supply issues. This is a short-hour, non-exempt position at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, with 16 weekly hours and an 8-hour shift. The schedule and days are variable; weekend work is required as needed. The job shift is listed as varied. The posted pay range is $28.75 to $35.04 per hour. Starting pay may depend on factors including experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Valid Class C driver's license.
- Forklift certification required.
- At least 1 year of basic experience typically acquired in a similar environment.
- Knowledge of basic math and alpha filing systems.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, timeliness, organization, prioritization, and ability to work with numbers.
- Ability to accurately count and restock supplies using an electronic device.
- Ability to accurately use materials/inventory and billing computerized systems.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of hospital-based materials management information systems, shipping/receiving, and distribution.
