About The Position
The Central Distribution Tech counts, restocks, and delivers supplies and equipment. Duties also include unpacking supplies, rotating stock, checking for outdates, and possibly processing daily billing charges and supply issues. This is a short-hour, non-exempt position at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, with varied shifts, variable days, 8-hour shifts, and 16 weekly hours. Weekend work is needed as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Valid Class C driver's license.
- Forklift certification.
- One year of basic experience in a similar environment.
- Knowledge of basic math and alpha filing systems.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, timeliness, organization, and prioritization skills, including the ability to work with numbers.
- Ability to accurately count and restock supplies using an electronic device.
- Ability to accurately use materials/inventory and billing computerized systems.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of hospital-based materials management information systems, shipping/receiving, and distribution.
