About The Position

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of its Nook Brand, is hiring a Centerless Grinder for first shift. This is a fully onsite, in-person role. The position involves setting up and operating centerless grinder machinery, meeting production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines, inspecting and deburring product, and moving completed material to the next workstation. The employee also maintains a clean and safe work environment and communicates with coworkers and management about schedules and jobs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience.
Ability to understand verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Mechanical aptitude and strong math skills.
Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers.
Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, and experience calculating feeds and speeds.

Nice To Haves

One-year certificate from a college or technical school.

Responsibilities

Set up centerless grinder machinery.
Operate centerless grinder machinery in accordance with production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
Inspect product to print for flaws and material defects, including deburring when necessary.
Move completed material to the next workstation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Communicate verbally with employees about work schedules and jobs, and communicate verbally and in writing with management as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
