The Center Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the health center, ensuring efficient workflows, excellent patient experience, and strong support for care teams. This role provides frontline leadership to administrative and clinical support staff, helping maintain smooth clinic flow, consistent processes, and alignment with organizational standards. The Center Supervisor serves as a key liaison between providers, care teams, operations leadership and centralized departments, ensuring that scheduling, patient access, and front desk operations function effectively. They support staff performance through coaching, training, and real-time problem solving, while helping implement new workflows, initiatives, and process improvements. This role plays a critical part in supporting access, patient flow, and service quality, ensuring staff are equipped to meet patient needs in a timely, respectful, and organized manner. This position reports to the Center Director. This is a full time, exempt, benefit eligible position at our Downtown Oakland Health Center. This position is represented by SEIU-UHW. Salaries and benefits are set by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA), and an employee in this position must remain a member in good standing of SEIU-UHW, as defined in the CBA.
