About The Position

The Center Store Specialist is the store’s point person for excellence across center store categories including Dairy, Frozen, Bulk, Coffee, Candy, and Beer & Wine. The role ensures product freshness, pricing accuracy, and merchandising compliance while supporting inventory integrity and guest engagement. It calls for passion, excellence, hospitality, and teamwork to deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining operational standards.

The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. The pay range is $18.48–$19.71 per hour. Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure center store categories meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating and temperature compliance for dairy and frozen items.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of dairy, frozen, bulk, coffee, candy, beer, and wine.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness and ensure proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Support compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
