Center Store Manager - Gardner, KS
About The Position
The Center Store Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for operational excellence and team engagement within the center store. Working with the Store Manager, this role trains, guides, and empowers team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The position is accountable for inventory counts, compliance audits, invoice management, and regular vendor check-ins to strengthen partnerships and maintain product availability. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Center Store Manager oversees center store activities, maintains daily task completion and safety processes, manages inventory and daily bookwork, and helps resolve guest concerns. The role is part of the store leadership team and may lead when other leaders are unavailable. The Center Store Manager also performs Store Team Member duties as needed.

Responsibilities
- Lead and influence operational activities within the center of the store with accountability and empowerment.
- Partner with the Store Manager to train, coach, and engage team members.
- Oversee center store activities under the supervision of the Store Manager.
- Ensure daily task lists are completed.
- Ensure daily store walks and safety processes are followed.
- Enter service and maintenance tickets promptly.
- Manage inventory and complete daily bookwork with oversight from the Store Manager.
- Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to team member service, keeping the Store Manager informed.
- Serve on the store leadership team and step in to lead when other leaders are unavailable.
- Perform Store Team Member duties as needed.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance, manage invoices, and perform regular vendor check-ins to support partnerships and product availability.
