About The Position
The Center Store Associate works independently to display and stock products while contributing to the financial best interest of the store. The role supports a positive guest experience and follows company safety and food safety guidelines. The associate may also be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Detail-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Retail or related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
- Fill, rotate, and merchandise products on shelves, in cases, and on sales floor displays.
- Notify the manager when products or supplies need to be ordered.
- Maintain familiarity with products carried in the departments and their locations in the store.
- Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
- Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
- Follow personal protective equipment and safety guidelines.
- Follow food safety and cleaning expectations.
- Follow guest experience guidelines.
- Perform tasks in other departments as assigned based on customer experience needs.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
